Dinners, Birthdays, Anniversarys, oh my!

I am so excited to finally be able to take the time to take part in Theta Mom Thursday once again!!! It's so important for every mother's sanity to have some "me" time. Not "mom" time or "wife" time, but "Cassie" time. I have found it is so easy to fall into the rolls and forget who I am and what I like. That's why I LOVE Theta Mom Thursday. Brilliant, she is.
I'll give you three guesses as to what I did.....yes I ate, and drank wine.....AGAIN.
Seriously though, I can't think of a better way to spend the time. For this dinner, I joined some fabulous ladies at a very sweet Italian woman's home who cooks dinner and gives you plenty of wine. It was an amazingly good time, with some wonderful people.

She has a beautiful home and cooks the best Italian food. And of course great wine!
So, this is a multi-tasking post. Hopefully now that I'm getting caught up on all I want to share I can get back into my regular blogging. Of course most normal people love having plenty to share and splitting it up, as to never run out of things to discuss. I'm not normal though. :) The idea of all the pictures and stories I have saved up is intimidating, so I put it off! Back to my point; another wonderful idea I wanted to at least spend at least one post taking part in is:
ThankfulThoughts
I am so very thankful for my family. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary on the 11th and I am thankful for this husband of mine, who is an amazing husband, father, and person in general. He gives so much and sacrifices so much to make sure our family is happy. I am very proud of him and love watching us grow and change together.
Off to dinner.
I am thankful for my daughter. She is such an amazing personality. She seriously just glows. I can't believe how much she has grown up in the past year. She just turned four this week and she amazes me every day with her love for everything and everyone.
Thanks Grandma for the awesome outfit! :)
Last, but certainly not least I am thankful for my son. Watching him as he grows and seeing his personality developing has been so much fun. He is so different from his sister, yet they are the best playmates. (as of now :)) He is a mini-me of his daddy and stubborn as can be already, but such a love.
BANANAS!
Oh yes, I can't forget. I have one more thing. Not quite as important as the rest, but I am truly thankful I did not throw this cake out of our third-story window. I don't know what I was thinking when I told Princess I would make her a Snow White cake, but I will never do it again...
I didn't even have time to finish her dress....
With the holiday stress starting to close in, it's so nice to be able to remember what's important in life. Thanks Clueless Mama!
