We did it!!

First homework assignment: check. I'm not going to lie, I felt like doing a little Dora happy dance when it was finished. We had a lot of fun at the Arts and Crafts center picking out things to dress up her doll in. Princess decided that her doll needed to be dressed in exactly what she was wearing today, so we got the right felt colors and went for it. We also found some cool sparkly buttons and embroidery floss for hair. Top it off with a button nose and a watercolor painted macaroni mouth and TA DA:
She is an expert with the glue stick.
**which is now safely hidden on top of the fridge **

So proud of her work.

What do you think?? Looks just like her right? :)

  1. What an amazing exerience to be living in Italy!!! My husband's parents and most of his family are from Sicily (and all but his parents still live there). We've been there about three times and it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world! I look forward to following your blog! Would love for you to check my blog out as well! :)

  3. That was so nice. Congratulations Kyla! I was stationed to the North of Italy in Straubing, Germany during my military service. Not too far from you all. Beautiful country!

  5. Italy is amazingly beautiful, I must admit. It has been a great, but trying experience so far and we are looking forward to our last year here. We haven't been to Sicily yet; still trying to figure out how to fit all the remaining traveling we want to do in before we have to leave! :)

  6. I love her little doll! You guys did a great job, especially for someone who said they weren't that crafty! I bet letting her go on the first day of school was hard. I am not looking forward to it!

  7. Thank you so much! It was so hard. I hung around the classroom a little too long and got kicked out by the teachers. :) (I wasn't the only one though so I don't feel too bad)
